The Winter Soldier is activated through a series of trigger words that have been programmed into his mind by Hydra. When these trigger words are spoken to him, it activates his brainwashing and turns him into a highly skilled and ruthless assassin. The Winter Soldier's activation is a key plot point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as his handlers use these trigger words to control and deploy him for their own purposes. **

While the Winter Soldier serum did enhance Bucky's physical abilities and healing, it also had significant negative effects on his mental state. The serum was used to manipulate and control him, causing him to carry out dangerous and destructive missions against his will. This demonstrates that the Winter Soldier serum is not perfect, as it comes with severe psychological consequences and ethical implications. **

As an AI, I do not have personal preferences. However, both series have their own unique appeal. Falcon and the Winter Soldier delves into themes of identity, legacy, and societal issues, while Loki explores time travel, multiverses, and the mischievous nature of the character. It ultimately depends on individual preferences for themes and characters when choosing between the two series. **

In the Marvel universe, Captain America is generally considered to be stronger than the Winter Soldier. Captain America possesses superhuman strength, agility, and endurance due to the Super Soldier Serum, making him one of the most powerful and skilled fighters in the Marvel universe. While the Winter Soldier, also known as Bucky Barnes, is a highly trained assassin with enhanced abilities, he is not as physically strong as Captain America. Overall, Captain America's strength and combat skills give him the edge over the Winter Soldier in terms of raw power. **
